We are well known worldwide for our brands, acclaimed for their quality and our technical support service that is second to none. The Tool Connection manufactures and supplies tooling to a number of sectors, mainly the automotive industry; with customers such as Porsche, Jaguar Landrover and the Volkswagen Audi Group.
The company is a stimulating and challenging place to work and due to our continued growth and development, we are now looking to recruit more warehouse operatives to work in our friendly and fast paced environment.
Salary: £16,286 per annum (£7.83 per hour)
Location: Southam, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday to Friday
Full and Part Time shifts available within the following shift patterns:
Rotational Shifts: 7.00–3.30pm, 8.30–5.00pm, 11:30am-8.00pm (worked on a weekly basis)
Late Shift: 11:30am-8.00pm
Zero Hours: 10.00am-6.30pm (when required – no guarantee of hours)
Working as part of the Warehousing Team, with other warehouse staff under supervision of a team leader to ensure all goods are received in good order and deliveries are sent out on time. General tasks of the role include:
- Picking from stock locations.
- Packing orders.
- Helping dispatch deliveries.
- Restocking products where required.
- Identifying damaged or missing stock and reporting to team leader.
- Helping ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy and boxes and banding are disposed of appropriately.
- Being mindful of health and safety requirements within the warehouse.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team to meet common objectives and targets but also someone able to work on their own initiative. Previous experience of working within a warehouse is desirable. You must possess good communication skills, be methodical, and show good attention to detail as well as being punctual and reliable and possess a good understanding and acceptance of health and safety within the workplace. Experience of working with hand held scanners would be an advantage. Flexibility with the desire to work overtime as and when required would be advantageous.
